It pays to be a network administrator for several years. When a patron could not print or save a document, and could not connect to the Internet to save it on Google Docs, and when the computer would not recognize the flash drive, she was frustrated. There had to be a way to save or print this.
I called daughter Becky and she knew exactly what to do. After all those years as a network administrator, she recognized a loose network cable. Sure enough, after I more firmly pushed the cable into the floor jack, everything worked: printer, internet, everything. The patron was happy, and I was glad to have access to decent, after hours tech support!
